Fantasy Reader Gift Guide

If you’re anything like me, you are as we speak frantically finishing (or starting – no judgement) your holiday shopping for the year, placing all your orders in time to be delivered (contact-free) before the holidays. And if you’re even more like me, you are quickly running out of creative steam as the days tick by and the overall level of holly jolliness begins to run a little thin. So this, dear readers is my gift to you: a gift guide filled with inconceivably, mischief-managing, there and back again, other-worldly ideas for the fantasy book lovers in your life! This is the fantasy reader gift guide you’ve been looking for!

Looking for something a little more literary? Check out my full list of fantasy novels and novellas here!

For the most hardcore of your book lover friends, you know, the ones who show up 20 minutes late to . . . everything, because “I just can’t believe they wanted to end the chapter like that!”

You may still be waiting for your Hogwarts letter, to arrive but until it does, science is the best magic we have. 2020 may be almost over, but we still have a lot of fight left, so wear a mask everybody!

Continuing the Spirit of 2020 theme, there’s nothing like the Princess Bride to give us oddly prescient quotes that speak to our current existence.

Perfect for curling up to read the Nature of Middle-Earth when it’s released next year . . . or planning military campaigns with your tiny elven action figures – your choice.

I’m always on the lookout for cute new bookends to spruce up my ever-expanding bookends. Love the silhouette look on these!

“It is dull, Son of Adam, to drink without eating,” said the Queen presently. “What would you like best to eat?”
“Turkish Delight, please, your Majesty,” said Edmund.

On the other hand . . .

Such a gorgeous design, and I just love the sentiment! Perfect for a heart-felt note to the people who make your life magical. 🥰

What an cool idea! I just love the idea of repurposing and giving new life to old and worn out books. I need to get myself one like, yesterday.

I absolutely love this design, and I think everyone can agree that 2020 could definitely use a little more LOVE to round out the season. True meaning of HP right here folks.

Mmmmmh, smells like kilts, fires, and Scotland… Droughtlander may be here to stay for a while (thanks ‘Rona), but I for one plan on at least one scheduled re-read with the Frasiers. Time for some mood scents.

Confession time: Lucy may or may not be my favorite of the Pevensies. Dagger and healing cordial in hand, you gotta love a girl with options.

Because you can’t have too many mugs, right?… right?

I mean, what else will I put my Butterbeer in?

Never stand between a hobbit and his elevensies.

Because sometimes the holidays are hard, and you just wish you could be someone else. . . and if that fails at least you can be drunk!

Ooooooh I want this! Seriously, what better gift for the avid book collector always “loaning” out copies to friends!

Gotta catch ’em all!

The perfect stowaway for those beloved books, safe from coffee stains, muddy tennis shoes, thieving roommates. It’s no Smaug but . . .

We obviously can’t travel to Hogsmeade right now (what with the quarantine and all). So I thought what better way to bring the Three Broomsticks to us than with the smell of simmering butterbeer?

Reading C.S. Lewis always makes me feel particularly . . . British. So I figured, why not just go with it? I love the scents this tea plays with, plus it comes with an adorable infuser complete with book charm on the end!

I hope you enjoyed this gift guide for all the fantasy book lovers in your life. As always dear readers, wishing you and yours a joyful, heartwarming, and story-filled holiday season!
